Ukrainian researcher exploring scholarship options

150 applications were received, among which 92 were taken into consideration. The total amount of money was 432,000 PLN.

The main goal of the scientific activities is to save cultural heritage during the Russian aggression. The researchers have been focusing on such subjects as the interaction of Polish and Ukrainian political thought, economic challenges to Polish-Ukrainian relations during the ongoing war, the challenges and opportunities of the European Union. The scholars will be given a great chance to broaden their research horizons in the project that lasts for 4 months.

Who can apply?

Each Ukrainian citizen that is a worker of the academic or analytical centre can apply for scholarship at the Mieroszewski Centre. The candidate should have a documented research activity and aim at conducting the scientific activities that cover the research topics of the Centre’s programme. Citizens who do not have a doctoral degree can also apply for a scholarship. However, the candidate should prove his or her scientific achievements.

The application should be filled out in Polish or Ukrainian language through the generator available at Mieroszewski Centre’s website. Chosen recipients will be granted a scholarship of 12,000 PLN, which is paid in 4 tranches of 3,000 PLN.
